Progress 5

Today in lesson we had a think over the love triangle we had created between Toby, Kai and Freya. We decided that it was too complicated and that we were struggling to show how she cared for both of them. We decided to remove Kai from the love triangle and just leave it as Freya and Toby. We then also decided that Kai would then be with Meg in our story. After doing this we then had to go over the date scenes we had and change them to suit the story. For Freya and Toby we kept the idea of them being on the Scaffolding but they were on guard duty instead, this would lead into Toby asking her about how she feels about him. She would then panics then say she doesn’t have time for a relationship and that she is a leader and that’s all. Toby tries to show how much he cares but she goes to leave. While she attempts to leave toby pulls her in to kiss her but it goes dark just before they kiss.

We also worked on a scene for Dom as he hadn’t been in much, so we created a scene where we see how each member of the terrorist group treat him, we wanted piece were we could see that Dom wasn't appreciated with what he does for them all. In this scene each member of the group would treat Dom with a form of abuse whether it was verbal or mental abuse. After this Dom was going to go forwards to the audiences and monologue about how he is treated by the rest of the group.

We also created a Split screen this week that focused on 2 events. On one side we had Freya and Toby arguing about Toby killing an innocent civilian and in the other side of the split screen the rest of us are reacting to a news report on a bombing I sector A that are group is being blamed for. In this we see it jump between the two and witness toby’s growing anger and the group’s suspicion of there being a traitor amongst them.
