Progress 4

Today in lesson we started working on our 2 date scenes with Kia, Toby and Freya. We first did Toy’s and Freya’s date which was them having a picnic on top of the scaffolding, this then turned into a dances with the both of them to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking out loud”, at the end of the dances toby would spin Freya into kai which would start the second Date between Kia and Freya. On their date scene Kia was going to teach Freya how to shot a gun in their shooting gallery which would then turn into Kia play a song on his Guitar to Freya. This would show the audience how Toby and Kai are both with Freya as well as her liking both of them but not being shore what one she likes more.

We also worked on Carls monologue at the start of the show and decided that we would turn it into a news report so that we could film it and use projection in our piece. Doing this I feel it sets our future dystopia piece as well as telling the audiences everything they need to know before the show starts. For the news report we said that it would talk about the day being the anniversary of Jamie taking control of the world and would vaguely explain how he took control of everything. In the news reports it would also explain about the terrorist group and would finally go through Jamie’s 5 rules:

1.       No individuality

2.       No Feeling

3.       No Freedom

4.       No Love

5.       Do as Jamie says

The news report would end with him saying “Remember Jamie’s always watching”
